Our Relationships

Innocence Projects

Our lawyers have strong and well-established relationships within the innocence community. Members of our team have volunteered their time to assist with exoneration efforts and regularly consult with advocates representing the wrongfully incarcerated.

We value our working relationships with various innocence projects, including the Duke Wrongful Convictions Clinic, the N.C. Center on Actual Innocence, and the Georgia Innocence Project, and with organizations that assist exonerees, such as After Innocence and The Sunny Center Foundation.

National Organizations

Our lawyers are involved in organizations across the country, including the National Police Accountability Project, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the American Board of Criminal Lawyers, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.  These relationships are invaluable when seeking subject matter experts and investigative resources.
