Whitney Hill Paralegal

Whitney Hill is a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal with more than 15 years of experience in state and federal courts across the country, particularly in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, supporting cases through trial verdicts in all three states. Specializing in civil litigation, Whitney brings to the firm nearly a decade of experience in insurance defense, both liability and coverage sides, uniquely positioning her as she supports the firm’s clients across all aspects of each case.

Whitney earned her bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and Criminology from North Carolina State University. Her dual degrees are complemented by a paralegal certificate with a concentration in civil litigation from Meredith College. This combination of academic training and years of practical experience allows her to provide invaluable support in complex civil and post-conviction litigation, ensuring that each case is meticulously prepared and pursued with unwavering dedication.

In addition to her legal work, Whitney is deeply committed to service to her community. Since 2014, she has been involved with The Junior League of Charlotte, Inc., holding several key leadership roles including a term as the League’s Executive Vice President where she ensured the alignment of the organization’s day-to-today work with its mission. Presently she serves as the Sustaining Advisor to the League’s Communications Council as well as a Board Member with the League’s endowment organization, the Junior League of Charlotte Legacy Foundation, Inc. Whitney’s commitment and dedication to social justice drives her involvement in other volunteer work, including as a Board Member with a national LGBTQ+ organization focused on creating safer and more inclusive college campuses for LGBTQ+ students and in supporting victim service organizations including InterAct of Wake County and Safe Alliance in Charlotte. Since 2011, she has mentored aspiring paralegals and actively works to raise the visibility of the profession.

Personally, Whitney is an avid hockey fan, with a goal to attend a game in every NHL arena. Although she has visited 25% of arenas thus far, her passion for the sport brought her as far as Helsinki, Finland where she cheered on the Carolina Hurricanes in their European season opener in 2010.
